Students gain valuable skills in classes, including Health Information Systems, Healthcare Delivery and Financing, and Introduction to Long-Term Care. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to analyze healthcare technology, interpret healthcare laws and policies, defend ethical decisions and formulate a strategic plan.
The coursework also emphasizes core management skills such as logic, problem solving and critical thinking. Graduates of Westwood’s Business Administration: Major in Healthcare Management program will be qualified for entry-level positions as an Assistant Administrator, Assistant Clinical Manager or Assistant Office Manager.**
