The healthcare industry is projected to be one of the fastest-growing fields overall.* Students attending amedical assisting college in Texas are becoming a crucial part of our healthcare system!
Westwood College offers a medical assisting diploma or associate program that provides the experience and skills to prepare students for a wide range of jobs within the medical field.** Students in the diploma program learn both in the classroom and in a functioning medical office through a 160-hour externship. Courses include instruction in Minor Surgical Procedures, Medical Terminology, Patient Relations, and Principles of Patient Care.
